Riding The Tiger: The Life and Work Of Bert, L. Long, Jr.
Members of the Houston art community are in the process of raising funds to cover the costs of production for a publication about Bert L. Long, Jr. a major artist in the Houston art scene for over 35 years. A lengthy essay about Bert written by Thomas McEvilley has been completed. Graphic artist and book designer Cyndy Allard is in the process of designing the book. Most of the photography of Bert’s artwork has been completed and several other pieces of writing are being compiled. HAF is very excited to be a part of the process bringing this book project to fruition.
